Holli Phillips is the Assistant Dean of Accessibility and Support.聽 She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University and her Master of Arts in Psychology from American Public University Systems.聽 Holli鈥檚 job duties are best summed up as being 鈥渁ll things learning鈥.聽 It鈥檚 her job to help students find the techniques, resources and skills they need to help them succeed in their academic journey.聽 This includes overseeing the Study Skills courses and the Turning Point Program, acting as the Accessibility Services Coordinator, and working with colleagues on various committees to serve student needs.聽 She is also the Chapter Adviser for Alpha Lambda Delta, the honor society for first-year academic success.
Marshell Edney
Associate Director of Retention and Student Success

Marshell Edney is the Associate Director of Retention and Student Success and adjunct faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences teaching FYS. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise and a master’s in Organizational Leadership from 四虎影视. She manages our Thrive Guide mentoring program and other retention initiatives. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with students and helping them achieve their academic goals.
Kristy Fedyk
Student Support Specialist

Kristy Fedyk is the Student Support Specialist. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix and attended Erie Community College for Early Childhood Education. She provides academic coaching to SU students by assisting them to realize, set, and accomplish their academic goals and successes. She also coordinates tutoring services for both undergraduate and graduate students.Her favorite part of her job is being a part of the growth and accomplishments of the students she works with.
Elizabeth Athey
Access & Support Specialist

Elizabeth received her B.A. in Gender Studies and Social Justice from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She is currently the Access and Support Specialist. In addition to managing the main campus testing center, she also handles accommodations, medical singles and ESA paperwork. Her favorite part of working in Student Support Services is getting to help students, as well as having great coworkers.
